DEADFISH by H. R. Graveclothes
DEADFISH is a cozy horror-sci/fi set in an alternate earth stricken by a man-made mutagenic disease that slowly turns people into marine animal-based mutant nightmares. Two main characters; Doug, a 17 year old goofball, and Virginia, a hardened woman of 47—lovable strangers become unlikely friends as they bond over ASL, silly activities, and taking care of each other, choosing to navigate the perils of the new world together.
It’s about grief, communication, healing, found family, and the lengths we go for the people we love.
DEADFISH Paperback
From building a home out of a train motel, to exploring the little tucked away town they find themselves in, they need to work together to survive the horrors of the new mutagenically diseased world, and the monsters that lurk in the waters.
